Story Sessions
Story Sessions are 1-1.5hrs and allow time for everyone to lose the stiffness, the awkward smiles, and settle into who they really are. They take you on an adventure- even if it’s just in your home! You can hand pick your location, get priority times, capturing not just how your family looks, but how it feels to be a part of your family. I’m focusing on connection and everything you love about right now. These tell a story and make a great album of photos to pass down to the next generation.
“My Kids Won’t Last an Hour”
I’ve never had to cut a session down- if anything, we go over because the kids have so much fun- or they take a little time to get over stranger danger- it honestly flies by.
The time includes breaks, games, and snacks if needed-posing between. Fall picnic, anyone?
“My Husband Won’t Last and Hour”
I get it, husbands don’t love photoshoots- yours isn’t the only one! But, they love YOU!
He’s not required for the whole session- after we get dad with the fam, with mom, and with kids, he can feel free to step away.
My prompts make it easy and often dad’s say that the experience was actually great.
Chapter Sessions
A chapter session is one piece of your story. Maybe it is a milestone- the chapter where she’s learning to sit, or the chapter where he was missing his two front teeth or the chapter I can still hold the baby. These sessions are 25-30 minutes, back to back spots (unless on a weekday), with limited availability, specified times and locations, and typically one backdrop. This year I offered some at the wildflower field/ marigolds, blowing rock, a field, and an urban setting. I also have some weekday availability.
“I Just Want a Photo for my Holiday Card”
Totally fine! In either session, we’ll get a great, genuine photo for a card- not just a “say-cheese” smile.
But, what if f this was the last fall your child fit in your arms like this? Wouldn’t you want more? More the photos you’ll actually miss?
